We believe that Nigerians can show up for each other and get the support they need, if they have the right tools.
Crowdr was born out of frustration and admiration. In October 2020, we watched as Nigerians across the country mobilised during the EndSARS protests. People crowdfunded millions, organised legal and medical support, and showed up for each other in true Nigerian spirit.
But while the heart was there, the tools weren’t. We watched organisers struggle to coordinate donations, verify needs, manage volunteers, and stay transparent, all while battling misinformation and state pushback. And after it was all over, we saw distrust creep in with allegations of misappropriation.
It was clear: if change was going to last, it needed infrastructure. So, we built Crowdr. A place where people can find causes, causes can find resources, and communities can grow trust. We’re not here to replace heart. We’re here to support it with structure.
Since 2024, Crowdr has helped Nigerians:
Raise millions of naira for everything from school fees to health emergencies.
Mobilise hundreds of volunteers to teach kids, support survivors, and more.
Accept donations from around the world without a website or domiciliary account.
And we are just getting started.
